Hi, I'm Kelli Duran,
and I’m here to help you have the most empowering transition with your new baby.
After Love was brought to life during my postpartum recovery of my third child. I was initially inspired to become a postpartum doula because of the care and attention I received from my midwife was infinitely superior to anything I experienced before. She made me feel like it was all about me, my baby, and my family.I suffered from Postpartum Depression after each of my children’s births. There was a moment when I spoke to my Midwife and Doula and they suggested a Postpartum Doula (PPD). I had no understanding that profession existed.
It didn’t take long for me to realize that was the calling I had been looking for. I had the financial background and history of building a business with my husband, I knew I could do this! My heart was 150% in!
Five months after the birth of my third child, the whole family and I flew to NYC so I could take my first DONA International (Doulas of North America) Postpartum Doula training course. This training transformed me and gave me even more confidence and confirmed to me again that I was on the right path for myself.
I realized I was more seasoned than I thought and through my personal pain of postpartum healing I can truly relate to new moms and seasoned mothers better now than before.

I have completed over 48 hours of in class training specific to Postpartum Support for families, as well Principles of Lactation Management. I also recently received my Certified Lactation Consultant Certificate (CLC) and completed my Tethered Oral Tissues Training (T.O.T.S.) as well. I am always looking for new and up to date training to continue to grow and share the information with my Moms and families.
My goal through After Love is much bigger than supporting moms only after birth. I plan to build a team that is dedicated to deep healing from a number of things that Mothers and families experience during child birth and postpartum. I plan to also extend my service to Adoptive families as well. This will take time and with a lot of the right guidance but I believe everything worth having takes time and hard work.
My philosophy is there will always be more Women having babies than Care Providers to provide tender emotional support for each of them. Each Mother and family deserve genuine loving care during this important season of life.
"Kelli was a great resource to us following the birth of our baby. With her compassion and knowledge she helped set us up to feel confident as first time parents. "
